This release is made from re-manipulated sounds from the original recordings made for this series as the original Delay Pedal Techno LP released in early 2022.

The sound sources on the original LP are the clicks, klangs and other imperfections made internally by the delay pedals whilst being operated. The original recordings were made at a time of personal crisis and the fact that these are the internal sounds of the equipment being operated with no external sound sources involved seems to fit with that for me somehow. A microphone was used to record sounds from outside my window on one of the original tracks however these organic sounds don't feature on this volume or others going forward. You can hear bits of digital feedback from the delay pedal on parts of DPT8 and DPT10, especially at the end of both tracks.

I decided to release some new instalments in this series because making this music makes particular sense to me right now in the weird, desperate and harsh hellscape of post-coivd,cost of living crisis-addled UK.
